What's on offer The Kevin Heinze Garden Centre Inc. provides horticultural therapy programs for children and adults with disability or disadvantage. On wet days, there's a range of indoor craft activities for participants. We have a very energetic and committed group of volunteers who work in small teams with our participants on a regular basis. They undertake a range of gardening or craft activities together. Many of our volunteers have had a long involvement with the Centre, some up to twenty years. Volunteers bring a range of interests and life experiences to the Centre which adds to the wonderful diversity. Volunteer skills/qualities You do not need gardening expertise or experience with disabilities. Our volunteers just need enthusiasm and an interest in people. You may also like to help out by assisting with maintenance work. |
