Visiting/social support/driving About the agency MND Victoria is an organisation dedicated to the support of people living with Motor Neurone Disease. The service is for everyone who is living with MND, whether directly involved or not. MND impacts not only upon those with the diagnosis, but also upon spouses, carers, parents, children, the extended family, friends, workmates and service providers. Membership of MND Victoria and access to its services is free to people with motor neurone disease. Most people with MND are cared for at home. MND Victoria assists people with MND, their carers, family and friends through Family Support Services. MND Victoria Family Support Services provide four key services at no cost to service users: * Information services * Regional Advisors * Equipment and aids * Volunteers Volunteers Volunteers are a very important part of the organisation. They undertake a variety of roles, including: volunteer visiting, fundraising, reception and the Speakers Program. In addition to training and supporting volunteers, the Coordinator of Volunteers & Groups coordinates several group programs. Programs include: Living Well, Living On, a monthly Telelink program for Carers and bi-monthly Information sessions by Telelink.
