Voluntary trained workers interview clients to provide information, referrals and support. The Bureau is linked with Community Infomation Victoria Inc.(CIVic) Volunteers Volunteer Community Support Workers (CIWs) interview clients in a confidential and respectful environment and provide information, referrals, support and/or material/financial assistance. A volunteer who interviews members of the public must complete the CIVic endorsed training program. There is a five-stage Training Program, as follows: * Stage One - Selection * Stage Two - Agency Orientation * Stage Three - CHCCS416A 50-hour training (Assess and Provide Services to Clients with Complex Needs) * Stage Four - Probationary Period * Stage Five - Ongoing Training Vacancies A Vacancies webpage will be added later.
