In Victoria, Scouting is the State’s largest youth movement, with over 20,000 members - male and female. There are sections for youth members from 6 to 26. The Aim of Scouting is to encourage the physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual development of young people so that they take a constructive place in society as a member of their local, national and international community. As a youth or adult volunteer in Scouting, there’s heaps of fun to be had and challenges to set yourself if you wish. There's also the excitement and energy of the youth members and the fellowship of the friendly and helpful adults you’ll meet in the Scouting movement. Have fun and build a better world! There are five Scout Groups in Manningham: Warrandyte/Park Orchards, Wonga Park, 3rd Doncaster East, 2nd Templestowe, and 1st Lower Templestowe. There are also many groups in surrounding suburbs, including Sea Scouts at 1st Ivanhoe and 2nd Eltham.
