We have been in the Manningham area for almost thirty years. We currently have over 350 individuals who attend our Centre each year. The Keving Heinze Garden Centre also runs a Lunch and Company Group for a group of senior Manningham residents who come together once a fortnight to enjoy lunch together. This gives them a great opportunity to have a chat with an interesting group of people rather than having lunch on their own. After having lunch, they can wander around the beautiful gardens. Volunteers We have a very energetic and committed group of volunteers who work in small teams with our participants on a regular basis. They undertake a range of gardening or craft activities together. Many of our volunteers have had a long involvement with the Centre, some up to twenty years. Volunteers bring a range of interests and life experiences to the Centre which adds to the wonderful diversity. Volunteers are needed to assist participants either individually or in small groups with craft or gardening experiences. support carers and participants with recreational gardening, weather permitting, or indoor potting or craft activities, if the weather is not good. Volunteers do not need special traininng and will be mentored here. They work as part of a support team.
