The services include Practical Assistance, Counselling, Social Support groups for seniors, In-home Family Support, the Hands On Parenting Support volunteer home visiting program and a Womens Domestic Violence support program. Doncare operates five Opportunity Shops, which are located in Templestowe Village, North Blackburn Shopping Centre, Jackson Court (East Doncaster), Macedon Plaza (Lower Templestowe) and Brentford Square (Forest Hill). The services provided by Doncare are primarily delivered by over 460 volunteers. Volunteers Volunteering opportunities at Doncare include: Community Information Workers who provide practical assistance to clients who are experiencing hardship. They also provide information and interview prospective volunteers under the Volunteering in Manningham Program. Social Support Connectors and Drivers who drive and support seniors to attend social outings Opportunity Shop staff who support the fundraising efforts of the five Opportunity shops Administration Support staff Volunteer Counsellors (Need to be stuying at post-graduate level. There is a waiting list.)
